With over a year of the pandemic behind us, and an unknown future with the new variant, a topic we consistently see come up is returning to work and what the future of work will hold.

The discussion seems so focused on the business side and not on the human side.

Who is making these decisions and have they considered how it will impact the most important asset in business? The people.

If you have ever met today’s guest, you’d never have to question whether there is a human behind the decisions being made and you can guarantee that people are her number one concern.

This last year has been heavy. A global pandemic, political division, racial tension.

And did we mention the pandemic?

Today, Think Tank of Three is hitting the reset button.

You don’t always get to do that in life, but when you have a podcast for women, by women, you get to practice what you preach. And there is nothing we preach more than turning inward when you need it.

No matter how you look at it, the lows, the highs, we’ve all faced changes and challenges. But we’re still here and we’re here together.

If you’ve been a part of the Think Tank of Three tribe for a while, you might have noticed the crickets around here. During the last few months, we have hit some roadblocks and had major changes come into our lives. Instead of trying to push on through and deliver sub-par or half-assed content, we took our own advice and took a break.

But we have regrouped, brainstormed, made some changes and updates to the site, and are now back and working to bring you more support and empowerment from successful women in our community.

We still have a bit more work to do before we are able to share our newest guests and updated posts so sit tight. I promise new content is coming and we couldn’t be more excited for it!

To keep you inspired until then, we wanted to share some of the content that we’ve been reviewing and relistening to as we build back up to Think Tanking again. In the spirit of putting on our own oxygen masks first, we pulled some of our most popular posts on Self-Care out of the vault for you.

So we went live on Facebook to share a special twist on the Expert Connexions series airing on mConnexions’ Facebook page.

By day, they are hard-working professionals; experts in their fields of public policy work and advertising creative. By night, they know how to block out fear by creating fun ways to connect their virtual communities!

In this virtual chat, Julie Holton and Audrea Fink of the Think Tank of Three Podcast talk with Seth Barnhill & Terry Streetman about some creative ways to get through this tough time.Continue Reading Think Tank of Three Co-Hosts Talk About Creative Ways to Connect Online

You never know how you’ll respond to a crisis until you’re in one. You can prepare. You can take classes. You can even run drills. But it’s never the same as the real thing.

Congratulations, Think Tank tribe. You now know how you’ll respond to a global crisis!

And though we are writing this intro with a bit of sarcasm and a hint of snark… we are also completely serious about giving yourself credit for however you are responding.

How many people have become overnight homeschooling parents?

Work from home wonder women?

Zoom and video conferencing gurus?

Seriously. Even if you feel like you’re failing (which, we can confidently say, you are not!), you deserve credit. We are all trying to navigate our way through something that has never been experienced before. There’s no guidebook for anyone to follow.

It’s with this in mind that our Julie Holton and her team at mConnexions launched a special live Q&A series called Expert Connexions, to help sort through the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. ICYMI: our Audrea Fink joined her live on Facebook to talk about how life has changed, personally and professionally.
